KeepScreenOn is a focused iOS and iPadOS app for hands-off viewing. Share a web page, photos, a PDF, or a document into the app, and it previews that content while keeping your screen awake for as long as you're looking at it. No more tapping the screen every few seconds just to keep it from dimming and locking.

The Problem It Solves

When you prop your phone on a stand to read a recipe, follow a tutorial, review a document, or flip through photos someone sent you, the screen dims and locks after a short idle timeout. KeepScreenOn removes that friction: the moment you enter a preview, the screen stays on, and when you leave, normal auto-lock returns so your battery isn't drained.

Share Anything In

Send content to KeepScreenOn straight from the iOS share sheet in Safari, Photos, Files, or any other app:

• Web pages — load and read the live page in-app
• Photos — share one or many images and flip through them as a single swipeable set
• PDFs — review page by page with smooth scrolling and zoom
• Documents and other files — preview using the familiar native iOS system preview

When you share content, the app opens automatically to the newest item's preview, so you don't have to switch apps manually.

Pick From Inside the App

An in-app "+" button lets you pick images from your photo library, or choose files, PDFs, and documents already on your device, so you can view anything hands-off without going through another app.

Automatic Keep Awake

Keep Awake is tied to the preview lifecycle, so it just works:

• The screen stays awake the moment you enter a preview
• Normal auto-lock returns when you leave the preview
• Returning to a preview after backgrounding the app keeps the screen awake again

History

Everything you share or pick is remembered in a History list:

• Most recent items appear at the top
• Reopen any past item with a tap
• Swipe to delete a single item, or use edit mode to select and delete several at once
• Deleting an item also removes its stored files, so cleared content doesn't keep taking up space

Viewing Experience

Each content type opens in a purpose-built preview:

• Web — live page load
• Photo sets — left/right paging with pinch-to-zoom
• PDF — smooth page scrolling and zoom
• Rich text and other files — the standard native iOS preview, so formatting and interactions feel familiar
